What is ‘wireless broadband’?
Wireless broadband is simply a broadband connection without wires – the connection is made via a wireless modem router. When you order any of our broadband packages you’ll receive a wireless router.
So you’ll be able to access the net wherever you want – from the comfort of your sofa or even the garden – so long as you remain within range of your wireless modem router.

AOL Broadband is compatible with most modern PCs. To enjoy one of our broadband products all you’ll need is:
- A BT line
- Windows XP, Windows Vista or Apple MAC OSX 10.3 or above
- A spare ethernet port

- AOL Broadband is easy to install. Your broadband easy-install pack will be delivered by 1st class post within 14 days of ordering broadband (this may take longer if you have changed your broadband provider)
- There’s no need for an engineer to visit your home as your easy-install pack includes everything you’ll need to set up your AOL Broadband and get online quickly. Your pack includes:
